2 brothers crawled out of pile of broken music gear in late 2021, cranked their amps, fuzz & energy to attack mode and started playing a bunch of shows in and around Sydney in early 2022.

Since then they’ve gone on to tear up stages and blast ear drums all over the east coast with a bunch of Australia’s best underground garage/rock/punk bands, including the Hard-Ons, Neptune Power Federation, Hoss, ROCKS, Nunchukka Superfly, The Vee Bees, The Stripp, Six Ft Hick & The Johnnys to name a few. As well as landing the odd international support slot (with the Schizophonics, Fadeaways, S.U.G.A.R, The Jackets and Guitar Wolf) plus a handful of appearances at underground rock festivals (King St Crawl, Hellnation and Outtaspace weekenders).

The Strike Outs debut single, 37 Moves, was released on 3/7/23, followed by the debut album exactly 12 months later (both on Evil Tone Records) and captured their full-on garage rock assault perfectly. Both have now sold out. Now in 2026 the second album – Double Negative is set for release in June. Again on Evil Tone Records but in conjunction with heavy hitting Oz label Farmer & the Owl. Its another 11 tracks of overblown garage riffs and scuzzy energy that goes straight for the throat and doesn’t let up until the fuzz rings out on the final track.

They’ve blasted through 80+ shows in 2024-25 and have a already belted out a bunch more shows booked in ’26 – cos nothings slowing down. So when 2 people can create such a massive wall of full-bore-destructo-rock like the Strike Outs can, more bands should trim the fat.
